Green and orange LEDs on both units will light up to indicate they are receiving power and data is being transmitted. PoC gives you the freedom to place the transmitter or receiver away from AC outlets, avoiding the hassle of running new power lines and multiple bulky power bricks. Note : if connected to a highdensity USB hard drive, you may use the receiver’s RS232 Phoenix connector or external power supply to add external power. Connect the transmitter and receiver with a usersupplied Cat5/6 cable (all cables sold separately). The extender kit requires no software to download and install.
